The library is always seeking new volunteers to:

• help in shelving, weeding, material repairs;
• covering and processing new books and other items;
• reading to the children at Story time.

On special occasions the Library needs volunteers to:

• build and install new shelves and display racks;
• assist the Friends of the Huachuca City Public Library at book sales, bake sales, or other fundraiser functions;

The library is currently seeking volunteers who can donate 1-5 hours per week to allow more time for the staff to catch up on technical chores. This would require the Volunteer to learn check out/check in procedures and use of the circulation terminal, and to be prompt and reliable on a semipermanent basis.
