eAudiobooks are changing again

Several years go, we began a very popular service—downloadable audiobooks from NetLibrary.

Last July, the service changed to the EBSCOhost platform.

Now (due to changes beyond our control) eAudiobooks are changing platforms yet again—this time to OneClickdigital.

What this means for you

Before Dec. 31, 2011, you need to…

• create a new account with OneClickdigital (video tutorial)
• install a new download manager
  Visit the Mac App store to download the OneClickdigital Media Player (for OS 10.6 or greater) or download the Mac Instructions for manual transfers.

eAudiobooks are still available directly through our catalog. Over the next few weeks, we will be changing the links in our catalog to point to OneClickdigital. The titles in the collection will remain the same.

*The Mac workaround may also be used on Windows, if you'd prefer not to install the OneClickdigital Media Manager.

**An iTunes Sync error message may be displayed on the iDevice: "<Number> items could not be synced. See iTunes for more information." You can click "Ok" to get past the error message. Go to Playlist on your iDevice to confirm that the title has transferred correctly.

1. To search for a specific downloadable audiobook in the library catalog, make sure "Library: ALL" is selected. Include the keyword downloadable in your "words or phrase" search.
   Examples: downloadable AND mystery; downloadable AND perry
2. Click on the link icon at the bottom right.
3. This takes you to the OneClickdigital site (or the EBSCOhost site, depending on whether or not we have updated our records). You can choose to listen to a preview of the downloadable audiobook, download the file, or search for other titles.
